There are children starving,
Mothers crying, fathers dying,
Homes collapsing, diseases spreading,
Thou must not complain.
How can we measure the pain of another?
If it's pain, it's pain,
If it hurts, it hurts.
How dare we pick and choose
What is worthy of our sympathy!
